3K-a-Day Challenge starts tomorrow! Write & Win!

“Art thou a pen, whose task shall be to drown in ink.
What writers think? Oh, wisely write, that pages white
be not the worse for ink and thee.”

--Ethel Lynn Beers (Ethelinda Eliot)

Need to get the words rolling on a new project?

Stuck in the middle of a novel and can't seem to push through?

Almost done and just need a few...more...words?

If any of these are you, then please join me tomorrow, Monday, August 22nd for 5 days of writing fun! Every day I'll chronicle my writing adventures as I juggle 3 kids (under the age of 10), two jobs, and much more all while completing my Mystery novel.

For those of you who've written with me during my last 2 challenges, welcome back! For those new to my challenges...you're in for a treat. Cause not only will you boost your word count and stay motivated by sharing your daily word count with fellow class mates, but you'll be in the drawing to win prizes.

Take a look at how we did on our last challenge and all the great prizes we gave away. Click here.

All you have to do, is join me tomorrow and start writing. My goal this week is only 3,000 words a day for 5 days to equal the final 15K of my novel. If that sounds like too much, set your own goal. If that sounds like too little, the sky is the limit!

Just write each day and then come back later in the evening (typically sometime after 6 p.m. Central Time) and see my daily update. That is where you'll post your results and see how fellow challengers are doing. Be sure to report in each day, whether you've met your goal or had a bad day...we want to hear all about it.

At the end of the week, I'll give you my final report and we'll celebrate with random prize drawings.

So, get ready...get set...let's write!

P.S. No excuses. Just write.

See you tomorrow...

Hi Kerri!,
I'm in on this one. Started the last one and then fell off the wagon. I'm determined to make it every day this challenge!
Thanks for the kick in the pants!

Thanks for the invitation, Kerri. I'm a relatively new lurker at FF&P. I'm going to try to do 2k/day to finish my novella this week. My kids started school this week, but my daughter gets out at 11:00 a.m., so it'll be a challenge. Thanks for motivating me!

I'm in Kerri. Between revising a MS, and working on one I am about 30k into, I have plenty to do.

Thanks for the challenge and inspiration.

okay, I'm in your class this month and I'm going to give this another shot.

My goal is 1000 words a day. If I do 3K, great, but 1000 should suffice to get some small novellas moving...
