Celebrate Good Times, Come On!
Well...well...well...we've made it to the end of Day #5 but did I reach my goal of 15K in 5 days?
I'm happy to report that....
YES! I did.
Today's total of 3989 put me at a total of 15, 203 for the 5 day total! (Insert trumpets blasting! Pop open that bottle of spirits, my good man!)
That's the good news...
The bad news is that despite reaching 100.2% of my WIP goal, I've yet to complete my book. LOL
But to my own defense, I did decide to change the ending just 2 days ago and that has added on some additional necessary scenes.
So, I've made a promise to myself to keep up the pace through the weekend and try to finish the book by Monday. I'll come back then and let you know how I did. I'll also give you the weekend to be sure everyone has had a chance to post their results.

Awesome job Kerri!
Today wasn't so good for me. I was on the road most of the day running errands and things like that. I only managed 878 but it's better than a goose egg.

Friday was a virtual goose egg for me. I ended up with 210 words. Blech! Between a deadline at work, hubby catching a earlier return flight from his business trip (nice, but bad timing :-)), and company (hurricane evacuees), the day was shot.
I'm hoping to make some progress today (Sat) while everyone else watches the endless hurricane coverage...

I had a productive day, wrote 4500 words, very happy - great end to the week :) Thanks so much for these wonderful challenges Kerri, they truly do help me get my butt in gear.
