3K-a-Day Challenge Kerri's Day #4 Results

Who Wants a Happy Pill?

I'm feeling much better today than I did the past two days. A real sense of accomplishment and forward progress toward the end of this book. I do fear that I may end up going over the anticipated word count but figure I'll do some cutting during editing. So, all is good.

I'm going to try to push through and finish the book tomorrow but I may need another day to do it. Nonetheless, this week was about making 15K and today I made up some ground that I lost the past two days. That being said, I can't believe we are down to the last 2 days of the challenge.

I've officially gone over the 400 page mark in my book and I'm well over 70K now. I can almost taste victory and it has that happy pill after taste.

Push through the pain, people!

Here's my total for today: 4075!

How'd you do?

Sending positive vibes your way,
Kerri

Great job, Kerri!I'm at 1236 for the day. I'm happy that I hit over a thousand, so no complaints.

I have been wordless...well, not too wordless.
Monday Count = 800
Tuesday Count = 500
Wednesday Count = 329
(are you seeing the trend here?!)
Thursday Count = 1200 (and only because I kept adding stuff into the story I was transcribing...LOL)
Tomorrow is Friday...if I'm lucky Hurricane Irene won't do very much damage here in Raleigh and I'll have all weekend to get more writing done.
16 days left (working days that is) of the temp job then back to the full time writing. YAY!

Congrats, Kerri!

Day 4 total = 2028. Yay! I used the 15 minute approach so I could write and still prepare for the hurricane and the (family) evacuees coming in tonight. It worked great!

Good luck weathering the storm, Q!

Best wishes to everyone preparing for Irene.
